Description: MSTP ACCESS Program Info: Our program aims to increase and support the diversity of the physician-scientist workforce by providing – (1) exposure to physician-scientist career paths, (2) insight into the MSTP (M.D./Ph.D.) application process, and (3) access to ongoing mentorship to students who identify as historically underrepresented in medicine, come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds and/or have limited research opportunities at their home institution (significant research experience is not required). ACCESS Scholar Enrichment Activities include: -Scientific & Career Development programming -Physician shadowing -Mentored laboratory research experience -Program social events & networking opportunities
