Description: The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program at the University of Michigan Biological Station (UMBS) is a competitive program funded by the National Science Foundation. Climate Change in the Great Lakes Region (Award No. TBD) provides a truly interdisciplinary and hands-on experience with field-based projects combining ecology, atmospheric sciences, and/or hydrological sciences. Whatever the project focus, students engage with all phases of research, from hypothesis formulation and data gathering to analysis, interpretation, and communication of scientific findings.
