Description: The departments of Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry at the Ohio State University will host a Research Experience for Undergraduates for the summer 2015, during May 17th through July 18th, 2015. As participant of the program you will have the opportunity to learn about laboratory safety training and laboratory procedure, have full-time research activities and participate in weekly seminars and scientific meetings. To be able to apply you need to complete basic course work in chemistry, biology and physics. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors who will be graduating in the next academic year are also eligible, but Freshmen are not eligible to apply. A stipend of $4,500, housing in university dormitory or area apartments and meal allowance will be provided.
